Welcome to BC Dive Community©

Welcome to a new organization that unites the diving industry in a completely different way. Current and past efforts to do so have resulted in slow, incomplete and sometimes lopsided efforts. BC Dive Community wants to be different. Membership is FREE, there is no committee that decides what is relevant and what is happening and all members have input. If we want to stimulate the diving industry to mature we must equally divide our time, money and efforts between promoting BC as a diving destination, increasing the number of (new) local divers and to bridge between regulatory bodies and industry players. At the moment there is a lot of promotion for BC as a diving destination but we also need to focus on creating a new generation of divers that want to explore the waters of British Columbia. Creating and increasing awareness of diving in BC will be one of our main strategies. Together we will develop projects which will be proposed to our members who will then decide on implementation on an individual basis. This way we can respect both individual members and their needs as well as offer effective projects to a large group.
